Summary:
This course examines how to use a GUI HTML editor to create Web pages. It also examines how to extend the capabilities of HTML by using Cascading Style Sheets, the Document Object Model, XHTML and XML.

After completing this course, students will be able to:
  • Identify and explain the features of a GUI HTML editor, and create a Web page using one
  • Describe the effects of Cascading Style Sheets on Web page design
  • Identify and describe the purpose and uses of JavaScript, Dynamic HTML (DHTML), Extensible HTML (XHTML), and Extensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Explain the function of the Document Object Model (DOM)
